Important information for maternity photoshoots
When do you recommend a maternity photoshoot?
The ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is between weeks 28-34 of pregnancy. During this period, movement is still relatively easy, different poses are comfortable, and outfit changes won’t be a challenge. However, you are welcome to come earlier or later as well. For an earlier session, it’s important that your baby bump is already visible, while for a later session, keep in mind that your baby might arrive sooner than expected.
Can we do a couple’s maternity photoshoot or include a child or dog?
Absolutely! 🙂
Couple maternity photoshoots and partner portraits are included in every photography package. If you’d like to include your older child, I recommend the Medium or larger packages for more time and variety.
Most studios are dog-friendly—well-socialized, house-trained dogs can join with prior arrangement. Each studio has its own rules for pet-friendly sessions, so we’ll confirm these in advance. For outdoor sessions, well-socialized dogs are always welcome.
Can we choose the photoshoot location?
Of course!
For studio shoots, you can select from multiple studios with varied interior styles to match your vision. If you prefer a classic maternity photoshoot, I will suggest a location since professional lighting and equipment are key, and I only work in studios with top-quality conditions. These studios are all easily accessible in Budapest.
For outdoor sessions, we will discuss your vision beforehand, and I will recommend locations that I know work well—where we can avoid crowds, find great lighting, and ensure the best possible experience and results.
How can we book a photoshoot?
Please fill out the booking form. I usually reply within 48 hours. If you contact me over the weekend, I will reply on the next business day.
After discussing the location, date, and time, I will suggest specific available slots.
Booking confirmation requires a deposit of 20,000 – 30,000 HUF (depending on the package), payable via bank transfer. (An invoice will be provided.)
Can you arrange a makeup artist?
Yes! 🙂 I work with incredible professionals who ensure you look like yourself—just an even more radiant version.
Professional makeup & hairstyling are available for an additional fee:
Nordix-Rooms Studio: Prices are arranged individually.
Studio Madison & Ndustrial Studio: makeup 17,000 HUF; hairstyling 6,000 HUF. Both studios charge for one hour of makeup-station use: 1,000 HUF with a studio makeup artist, whom I usually arrange, or 3,000 HUF if you bring an external makeup artist.
Lightroom Studio: Makeup: 12,000 HUF, Makeup + hair: 17,000 HUF
Do you provide maternity dresses for maternity photoshoots?
Yes, every package includes maternity dresses.

Of course, you can also wear your own outfits. We will discuss styling for each session individually. If you would like a stylist’s help, that can be arranged for an additional fee.
Why does the number of outfits in the medium package depend on who takes part?
Photographs with children take more time: getting comfortable, arranging poses, and taking short breaks. Trying to fit in three outfits as well would take time away from natural family moments. Within the one-hour booking, two outfits fit comfortably when one older sibling joins, and one outfit when two older siblings join. This leaves time for quality individual and family photographs without rushing.
For photographs with your family and children, you can wear a dress from my collection or your own clothes if you prefer a more relaxed outfit.
I have no idea what poses suit me best!
No problem! I guide you through every step, suggesting and demonstrating flattering poses. Even if you move naturally in front of the camera, I will direct you to ensure the most beautiful and comfortable positions.
Can we choose which photos to be retouched?
Yes! You will select your retouched images from a password-protected online gallery.
I do not provide raw images, and they are not available to purchase.
Can we request additional retouched images?
The price depends on the number of additional retouched images ordered. However, for 1-2 extra images, the cost is 4,000 HUF per image.
Do you offer newborn photography?
Yes! For 1-2 month-old babies, I recommend a lifestyle family photoshoot.
What is a lifestyle session?
This style captures natural, intimate moments between parents and their newborn. The images feel spontaneous, warm, and authentic rather than posed.
Newborn photoshoots are also done in a studio setting, and those who previously had a maternity session with me receive a special offer for their lifestyle family session.
